Quotes Edit

SSX (2000) Edit

"Narrow and unforgiving, this course is a challenge to master." - Course Description

"As the sun sets on a sunny summer day in the desert, there's just enough blood-red light left to squeeze in a last run before heading back to the lodge. The snow has been melting all day, leaving patches of exposed rock to foul your board. But don't worry too much about that; you'd be better off paying attention to the boulders and other large rock formations in your path. The downed trees and rock ledges deliver plenty of opportunities to work your railslides. Don't eat it too much, though; wolves in the area get hungry when the sun goes down" - Game Manual

SSX Tricky Edit

"Mesablanca - Showdown at the snowboard corral." - Front End Voice

"Mesablanca - SSX meets the Wild Wild West." - Front End Voice

"Mesablanca - Hope you're packing heat on these slopes." - Front End Voice

"A beautiful sunset falls into a cool sky that blankets the almost completely redesigned slopes of Mesablanca. The governor called up the national guard to add more manpower to the awesome task of giving Mesablanca a facelift. With a redesigned start area that offers five options and thousands of new grindable shortcuts, Mesablanca is good to go!" - Narrator

"Like the old days of the Wild West, our riders get ready for a showdown here at a brand new Mesablanca. With a redesigned start area that offers five paths, racers will have to be sharp to pick the best line. This smooth course allows for intense speed and big air; all in the orange glow of a southern sunset." - Narrator

TriviaEdit

  • Mesablanca means "white table" in Spanish.
  • In a similar vein to Mercury City Meltdown, one of the key differences of Mesablanca is the starting gate layout. In SSX, all 6 riders being spaced out from each other and facing inward to the course. In SSX Tricky however, all 6 riders are lined together.
