Snowdream is a great BEGINNER course, known for its challenging array of berms and whoops.

— Description of Snowdream, SSX Tricky

Snowdream is the first and easiest course of SSX, and the second course in SSX Tricky. Snowdream is located in Japan, like Tokyo Megaplex. In SSX, Snowdream gives the player an introduction to the game, as it is a great beginner level, and not too long. It has a vertical drop of 826 meters (2710 feet) and a course length of 2860 meters (9383 feet).

In SSX, Snowdream begins with a few moguls connecting to rails to give the player a chance to try out early tricks. It then connects to a few turns and a shortcut represented by the SSX logo.

In SSX Tricky, Snowdream needs to be unlocked by winning a medal in Garibaldi. Snowdream begins with some small jumps and escalates into turns, while Snowdream is seen as a racing level, lots of hidden areas are present with jumps that make it a good Showoff level as well. The Snowdream logo is mostly red, white, and silver. It features a red circle with silver letters 'S' and 'D' inside of it, abbreviated for Snowdream. There are also two small dots located in the upper right corner of each letter.

Quotes Edit

SSX (2000) Edit

"Rolling pitch with some great opportunities to line up your tricks. A good course to get a strong start on the circuit." - Course Description

"It's a nighttime winter wonderland. From summit to finish line, you're bombing down some on the choicest runs imaginable atop Japan's highest mountain range. Traverse the terrain, hit steep chutes, and take flight off some massive drops. Whether you're nailing an eggplant or doing a face plant, this course delivers on its name - it's a snowboarder's dreamland. Too many blown backside 540 rodeos, however, and this course quickly turns into your worst nightmare." - Game Manual

SSX Tricky Edit

"Snowdream - Let's start things off right." - Front End Voice

"Snowdream - Feel the dream of snow." - Front End Voice

"Previously, Snowdream was the first and most friendly course of the SSX circuit, but the designers here in Japan have decided to expand and upgrade the challenges. This year's course is not only faster but trickier with numerous new paths." - Narrator

"We head to the slopes, atop the heights of Japan's mountain range: Snowdream. Our new season finds the layout so different from last year's that riders might not recognize it as an old friend. Only the tasteful resort, hot springs, and colorful Japanese ski culture assures us that this is the same track." - Narrator
